The silent evolution

403 life-size fugures and occupying an area of approximately 420 square meters, The Silent Evolution (A Evolução Silenciosa) besides its aesthetical component has in its purpose to permit the formation of an artificial reef in Cancun, Mexico. This installation is part of the underwater museum called MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) a project founded by Jaime Gonzalez Cano of The National Marine Park, Roberto Diaz of The Cancun Nautical Association and Jason deCaires Taylor, located in the waters surrounding Cancun, Isla Mujeres and Punta Nizuc.
